Description

Page 12 of 12 of a comic that takes the chapter "The Key to the Porte-Rouge (continued)" from Victor Hugo's "The Hunchback of Notre-Dame" and replaces the characters with their Disney counterparts.

THE LAST PAGE! DUN-DUN-DUUUUN!!

Now Frollo is P-O'd. Stupid Quasimodo, coming to protect Esmeralda! :shakefist:

It's re-worded differently but, yes, that is the same general threat that Frollo mutters under his breath after he runs off in the book. Originally, I was going to draw this page with the third panel (where he utters "NO ONE CAN!") being the last panel, but then I remembered that as soon as Frollo runs off in the book Esmeralda falls into a deep despair after all that had just happened. So, I drew a simple panel of Esmeralda overcome by the trauma she had just experienced. It then makes this comic end on a very depressing, gloomy note. But then, it's not like this comic was made of rainbows and sunshine! ^^;

All 12 pages are done! Now all that's left to do is color in the whole thing. This may take a while . . .

The drawing of the Disney HoND characters and in perfect Disney style is top tier awesomeness.

The fact that you drew the Disney's character reenacting from a chapter in the book was sheer cleverness. I don't condone rape, but thankfully even in the book Frollo didn't succeed. But this was a more interesting and darker turn on the Disney version. Something that I'm glad I got to read. Also do you have the first 5 pages anywhere? I would love to read them.
