Mad Love - for Savage Lucy

This picture is dedicated to Savage Lucy, an artist I absolutely worship here on DeviantART. I have been reading her "Mad Love" fanfic and have seen her inspired art, and that in turn inspired me! So, I took what I read and saw and did it my own way. Now, this is a drawing that, when it was done, really surprised me. I suck at drawing two-people interactions, but this was accomplished with flying colors! Kissing is so damn hard to draw, but I think I did great with this. If I had messed up on that or proportions, then the whole picture would have gone to hell! I'm just glad I did it right this time . . . And, once again, I think I drew TDK Joker well, which is a relief, too. I like how it turned out, overall.

Now, my scanner sucks at scanning artwork colored with colored pencils, so I had to play around with the image settings, adjusting the contrast to almost -100, just to get the colors looking bold. It definitely made Harley's hair very yellow . . . O_o Oh, and as a note, the red marks that are on Harley's face and neck . . . those are supposed to be makeup where the Joker kissed her. I smudged it slightly on purpose with a tissue paper.

Anyway, this was a very bold undertaking for me since I 1) am not that great at drawing two-people interactions and 2) I am not 100% used to/comfortable with drawing suggestive/sexual things. But, I felt a need to draw this, so . . . Yay! Overall, it took about an hour from start to finish.
